We wanted to spare our 16year old cockerpoo Pumpkin the stress of a vet visit in her final hours.

Bridgette came and helped Jessie cross over rainbow bridge. To have the service at home and for Jessie to stay in her bed in her home meant the world. Bridgette was nothing but caring and so compassionate. She cried with me and made me and Jessie feel at peace. They fully sedate first which has not happened when I’ve had to make the call at a vets before. It was so peaceful and loving and I couldn’t have asked for more for my 19year old best friend. Today we had the unfortunate event of putting my poor girl Kira to sleep and this service was everything you’d want for your baby and more. I was filled with anxiety, worried it wasn’t going to be as relaxed and gentle as I’d hoped. But Eli was that and more! We felt incredibly blessed to have Bridget in our midst after making the agonising decision to say goodbye to our beloved family dog who was suffering from late stage kidney disease. She was gentle, discreet, calming and made it more bearable for both us and him than I had anticipated. Eli guided us with compassionate, informed insights into assessing his quality of life in his final weeks, making home visits that allowed us to consider our choices thoughtfully. At that stage, although we’d been loyal clients at our own vet clinic for over 30 years and had always appreciated their care, we just couldn’t bear to put him through the stress of a clinic visit and all that that would have entailed.
As difficult as saying goodbye was, we’re incredibly grateful to Eli for making it as personal, peaceful, and comforting as possible for us and for him. Having the option of home euthanasia gave us the chance to say goodbye in our own way and within the quiet of our home. He spent his last moments in the garden, in his most favourite spot enjoying the morning sun, which meant the world to us. Eli took care of every detail, from paperwork to ensuring his individual cremation, even bringing his casket back to us along with a few thoughtful pawprints.
Eli’s care and attention were truly priceless during this challenging time, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly to anyone facing this situation. Her support meant everything to us, and we will always be deeply thankful.
